Hello everyone. It’s 9.30am and the temperature is already soaring outside. 31 degrees Celsius and 29 C inside my living room. I took the vegie scraps out to the garden and I could feel the heat beating down on my unprotected head. A few quick moments of vitamin D. Anyway I finished my kitchen chores and sat back with a fresh coffee and thought about what needs to be done today.
You can support me on Ko-Fi if you wish to make a one off donation. Thankyou.
I am into count down mode now and there is still a lot to get through but the motivation is at near zero with this heat. There are less than a few weeks to go before I head off on my next trip back home to Negros Oriental.
The car shit itself a couple weeks ago and is now parked under the lilac tree and getting crapped on daily by the birds that rest and eat the ripening berries. I think the head gasket is blown but I have neither the skills nor inclination to fix it. Another one of those jobs that will be put off until I return. I need to clear a space in the front of my workshop to park the old girl out of harms way. (Kilo’s of bird crap) Whilst I am gone. Perhaps Paul will fix the old girl whilst I am away.
Inside one of the bedrooms I have a ceiling that was perilously close to collapsing but with the help of my old mate Paul we have averted disaster. However there is a small section that still needs finishing. Maybe tomorrow.
There is a brew that needs making in order to provide me with 72 stubbies of beer when I return. At the rate I drink maybe I should make a couple of brews before I depart.
Seriously though, where do I start? My lady friend advised me that I haven’t even started packing yet. Hmmm plenty of time for that my dear hahahaha. So long as I don’t forget the pasalubong (gifts), everything will be fine.
A quick glance in the near empty freezer revealed a container of stew that I made many months ago. That will do for dinner tonight, at least I will not need to cook. By 5pm the temp. will be up around 35C in the kitchen and certainly not conducive of partaking in my fine culinary skills hahahaha. Good beer drinking weather.
I guess I could always sweep and mop the floor. I can take my time with that and avoid over exerting myself. I need to watch my heart with all these sudden deaths.
Until next time, see ya!
